From India to Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania, WMF is building a global platform for millet farmers, businesses and institutions.
WMF is being built as an international federation to connect millet farmers, businesses, manufacturers, exporters, institutions, government bodies and global entrepreneurs — a unified network advancing millets as the food of the future.
A connected network where every stakeholder flows back to WMF — uniting the global millet value chain under one mission.
On International Literacy Day, the World Millets Federation will announce its complete Board of Directors and their designations. From that day, WMF will initiate Global Millet Literacy Campaigns to spread millet knowledge, education and awareness in every country.
Everything you need to know about applying, timelines, and what to expect as a WMF member.
Click the 'Apply for Membership' button, fill in your details, and choose your membership track — Charter Member or General Member. After verifying your email, you can complete the full application form.
Charter Members are leaders who actively shape WMF initiatives, represent the federation at events, and participate in strategic activities. General Members support the mission at their own pace through events, campaigns, and awareness programs.
The complete Board of Directors and their designations will be announced on 8 September 2026, International Literacy Day. On the same day, WMF will launch Global Millet Literacy Campaigns to spread millet knowledge and awareness worldwide.
Once submitted, your application enters the WMF review process. You will receive a confirmation summary and can track your application status from your dashboard.
No. WMF membership is completely free. There are no membership fees, no dues, and no payments required at any stage — from expression of interest to full membership.
Tick the statements that apply to you. We’ll suggest whether Charter or General membership fits your commitment level.
WMF is already connecting millet stakeholders, businesses, and institutions across continents. From North America to Oceania, our network is taking shape as a worldwide movement.
Plus a 36-state network across India, forming the backbone of the World Millets Federation.
